    About This Organization

    The Crossing Church consists of three campuses located in Tampa (Brandon area), Tampa (Ruskin area) and Plant City, FL.

    The Crossing Church’s Mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. That mission at The Crossing Church is accomplished when people believe in Jesus Christ as Savior, belong to the family of God through The Crossing Church, and become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

    The Crossing Church’s Values are to build each other up in God’s love. Our core values come from Ephesians 4:1-16. They are humility (v. 2), unity (v. 3), maturity (v. 13), authority (v. 11), and nobility (v. 1).

    Since March of 2020, the reach and impact of The Crossing has exploded in-person and online.

    Position Description

    The Lead Content Creator’s primary role is to create content and provide a strategy for all of The Crossing social media platforms. Alongside this, they will build teams of servant leaders across all ministries and campuses to maintain brand excellence through social media.

    Key Responsibilities:

    •Create content and provide a strategy for all of The Crossing social media platforms
    •Ideating new types of content while strategizing how to leverage the social media accounts of The Crossing Church to grow and be engaging.
    •Building teams and assisting ministries in the type of content created for social.
    •Assisting in the operation of the content room, podcast room, and all future content creation stations.
    •Utilizing graphic design and video editing to create engaging content.
    •Establishing and maintaining a quality of photography that can be replicated across all events, services, and meetings.

    •Loves People: Has a heart for people and a passion to use communications to help people take next steps towards Jesus.
    •Experienced in social media: Has a vision for how social media platforms can be used to empower people with helpful and engaging content.
    •Team Player: Thrives in a collaborative environment, and has a “we” not “me” ministry approach.
    •Strategic: Gifted at providing systems, structure, and administration to help empower others and power the communications ministry in a healthy and sustainable way.
