    About This Organization

This church believes that as followers of Christ, they are being called into a community with one another to influence and impact the community around them. The hope is to see every[one] transformed and mobilized by Jesus. Joel, the Lead Pastor at Traverse City, values authenticity and transparency about how God is transforming those around him (in real-time). His passion is to see every single person find their God-given purpose and calling in life.

Kensington is a non-denominational church that the Senior Leadership Team leads. It is an egalitarian church, where women and men are equally given opportunities to lead, teach, and pastor as the Lord individually gifts people. Kensington is known in the Traverse City area for its appreciation of the arts in worship as well as their focus on missions.
