    Why We Love This Opportunity

Rockharbor Church is looking for a relational and strategic leader who can develop staff and continue the great momentum and reputation of the Student Ministries at the church. These new leaders would join a team that prioritizes fun, creativity, and relationships while passionately following Jesus to influence Meridian/Boise and the surrounding communities.

    About This Organization

Since launching at Easter in 2012, Rockharbor Church in Boise, Idaho, has been about reaching people where they are. This church of nearly 5000 in weekly attendance has steadily grown because of an emphasis on authenticity. “One of the things you hear around here a lot is that we are real stinkin’ people,” says senior pastor Keith Harrington, “This is a place where people can be real and explore a relationship with God.”

A continual focus on those not there yet has led the church to baptize 10% of the overall attendance annually and reach the next generation. With 41% of the attendance being under the age of 18, this is critical for the Rockharbor’s future. “We cover about sixty percent of our gatherings with expository preaching,” says Keith, “but even the others are firmly grounded in teaching.” The church is highly engaged in a vibrant city-wide network and seeks to continue to play churches over the coming years.

The current Student Pastor is going to be one of two staff members departing Rockharbor to plant a daughter church in a nearby community– multiplying the Rockharbor influence.
