Renew Communities is looking for a Worship Pastor who can lead with both spiritual depth and clarity. This person will oversee worship and production, build and develop teams, and help create gatherings that are thoughtful, Spirit-led, and engaging for the whole church. This person will be missional-minded, seeing church as much more than just Sundays. The music is high level and the church continues to grow. This is an incredible position for a great leader.

I love this opportunity because Renew Communities is awesome! I loved the time I spent there with the team. It’s an incredibly humble group that has a strong desire to see people live out their faith. The music level is really high here. More than anything, they need someone to lead and develop their team. To grow more leaders while still leading great services. They care about worship, but they care even more about forming disciples and sending people on mission. Renew Communities exists to see whole communities renewed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we follow Jesus, practice the ways of Jesus, and teach others to do the same. For the past 15 years, the church has focused on developing disciples, raising up leaders, and multiplying ministry throughout Northeast Ohio. Their heart has always been to build a church that helps people genuinely follow Jesus and live out their faith in everyday life.

The ministry strategy is simple and intentional: Gather, Grow, Go. The church gathers together to worship and encounter God, grows as disciples of Jesus, and then goes back into everyday life to live on mission as the people of God. This framework shapes how the church organizes ministries, builds teams, and develops leaders.

Renew Communities is located in Berea, Ohio, a welcoming college town just outside Cleveland and home to Baldwin Wallace University.
