Position Description

The role will focus on major giver development for a particular region of the US. This includes planning, execution, and refining best practices around managing a portfolio of active and prospect major givers, leading them thorough a relationship cultivation process, to engage them in support of LPA’s mission globally.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual immersion and marketing plan to elevate the partnership of major donors, tour dates and high potential churches
  • Make minimum of four visits per year with each person in assigned territory
  • Make regular phone contact with donors to foster relationship and communicate achievements of LPA support
  • Challenge current LPA donors to enlist qualified friends to attend President’s Council events
  • Document each contact with LPA donors, noting relevant and useful information about them
  • Grow the annual giving from your assigned territory
  • Identify individuals who can benefit from Palau Foundation’s planned giving services and shepherd people through the process
  • Manage and market special projects in assigned territory, such as fundraising desserts, introductory events, special gatherings with leaders, and other projects as assigned

 

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

  • The ideal candidate has a heart for the ministry of engaging giving partners in the work of supporting worldwide evangelism
  • This individual will be relational, self-driven, have an attention to detail, and an orientation toward outcomes
  • They will love being around people, but even more, seeing those individuals align their stewardship in ways God is calling them to be a part of the impact He is having through LPA
