    Position Description

    The Communications Director is responsible for implementing marketing, advertising, and communications strategies for Orchard Church to increase digital engagement, leading to in-person experiences, to help people find and follow Jesus. Additionally, the Communications Director is responsible for developing high-quality and high-impact communications for internal audiences that help people take their next steps in following Jesus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The Communications Director will lead a team (staff, volunteers, contractors, vendors) to:

    • Implement our digital engagement strategy (social, website, email) to help people find and follow Jesus
    • Oversee our digital engagement strategy using a CRM platform (Hubspot)
    • Create and manage traditional advertising campaigns (billboard, direct mail, print)
    • Create and send a weekly “all church” email
    • Support the weekend experience
    • Collect and tell stories of life change
    • Help strategize and plan communications/marketing for 6-12 month periods
    • Own and manage the church’s brand/identity
    • Carry out the day-to-day tasks of facilitating communications/marketing.
    • Other duties as agreed upon and assigned
