    Why We Love This Opportunity

After a season of (new leadership/clarity of vision/pandemic) pruning and the departure of several hundred regular attenders, IHC is poised for fresh growth. Indicators such as 75 brand new volunteers in children’s ministry, or 100+ people participating for the first time in adult discipleship groups this fall, along with a recent surge (60+ on a recent Sunday!) in new commitments to follow Jesus all point toward the amazing ways God is moving in our community. Our staff, volunteer leaders, and congregation feel more aligned now than at any other point over the past two years. Based on our commitment to reach people who aren’t here yet, along with careful stewardship of assets and reserves, IHC’s church board is considering opportunities for significant expansion via multisite strategy to broaden our reach and Kingdom impact within the next couple of years.

    About This Organization

From the beginning, Inland Hills Church has focused on reaching those who do not know God personally and building relationships through intentional community. IHC was founded in 1991 with the intention of being a church for people who weren’t into church.

The passion that God placed within the hearts of founding pastor Dave Stoecklein and a core group of families was contagious: by the end of the first year, IHC regularly saw nearly 500 people participate in their weekly gatherings at Ayala High School, located at the center of Chino Hills. In the summer of 1999, we achieved our dream of building our own facilities and moved onto a 20-acre campus. The sacrifice, prayers, and engagement of hundreds of families continued to open new pathways for more ministry and further reach.

IHC remains committed to the life-giving message of Jesus, the passion and joy of weekly worship gatherings, and a simple but effective approach to discipleship. Currently, we are leveraging the power of ever-changing technologies and the global reach of the internet to share the love of Jesus as broadly as possible. Today, hundreds of families attend Inland Hills Church from all over the Inland Empire.
