Founded on October 4, 1951, Ingleside Baptist Church is beautifully nestled on a lush, green campus of rolling hills and mature trees in Macon, Georgia. Since September 4, 1989, Dr. Tim McCoy has led this thriving church into a new generation of vision and growth. Over the past 32+ years, there have been two additional services added and many new buildings constructed or renovated toward the overall priority of making disciples for the glory of God that come to worship, grow in a group, serve in the body, and go with the gospel.
Ingleside Baptist Church is located in North Macon, a beautiful suburban area, while still only a short drive from revitalized downtown with tons of historic charm and entertainment. People who call Ingleside home are genuine at every level and are dedicated to service because “every member is a minister!” Expectations are high, consistent with the culture established and modeled by the staff. Much of Ingleside Baptist’s staff have long tenures at the church because, as they put it, “this is a terrific place to raise a family.”

With multiple services over the weekend and every service continuing to grow, the Children’s Minister needs to be a strong team builder who can recruit and develop a strong team in all areas of Children’s Ministry. Serving in the body is a high value at Ingleside, and people are encouraged to use their gifts. Fortunately, Ingleside’s Next Generation structure splits preschool and elementary into two distinct and parallel roles, meaning the Children’s Pastor simply needs to focus on the ministry to kids from Kindergarten-5th Grade.
