About This Organization

Conveniently located next to Tacoma and a 50 minute drive north to Seattle, High Pointe Church has been connecting people to Jesus in Pierce County, Washington since 2000. The church has a passion to reach the community and beyond with the hope of Jesus, and has been blessed with rapid growth.

Position Description

The Worship Director will work alongside the Lead Pastor and a gifted community of creative volunteers and paid staff to help cultivate meaningful Worship Services. They must be adaptable and able to carry out the ever-changing responsibilities that arise as High Pointe anticipates continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the Lead Pastor in designing and leading modern Worship Services.
Oversee Creative Volunteer Teams.
Oversee Part-Time Tech and Admin.
Provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to worship team members.
Recruit, audition, and train those involved in worship ministry.
Lead weekly rehearsals and cultivate a Christ-centered community.
Use Planning Center to order services, volunteer scheduling, and all facets of worship ministry.
Use ProPresenter presentation software and LightFactory DMX lighting controls.
Create and implement new stage designs as needed.
Responsible for creating and overseeing the Worship ministry budget & maintaining all equipment/instruments.
Video & Photography.
Share some pastoral responsibilities of the congregation with other director.

Qualifications of an elder (1 Tim. 3:1-7)

Salary Range

80,000 – 90,000
