Faith Bible Church
Why We Love This Opportunity
Faith Bible Church is in the heart of Seattle and is ethnically and socioeconomically beautifully diverse!
FBC focuses on reaching the Japanese in the area through a Japanese Language Ministry but has grown to be a multi-generational and multi-ethnic church. Faith Bible Church is an independent evangelical fellowship of approximately 200-300 members and is not affiliated with any denomination.
The elder board is eager to fully empower a competent leader who has digested the DNA and culture of Faith Bible Church. They are seeking a leader who genuinely possesses a pastor/shepherd’s heart and will initiate spiritual growth, creativity, vision, and connection.
The opportunity for the right leader to grow in influence and leadership while experiencing Kingdom expansion is tremendous.
This is an extremely exciting lead pastor opportunity for a person who values diversity and is called towards the geography and people of Seattle!
About This Organization
At FBC, the mission is simply to make more and better followers of Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:19-20).
Our hope is to be used of God to make this a reality for every person God brings into our lives. We strive to accomplish this by guiding and developing people through three lifelong steps:
FBC is a multi-generational church that understands the importance and roles of each generation and provides space for growing both with others in similar life stages and together as a whole church family.
FBC also pursues unity in diversity in Christ through cultivating relationships and building community. We highly value cultural sensitivity but share a common mission and the Kingdom culture. We do not want ministries to be silos but to listen to and engage with one another to fulfill our church mission.
There are two expressions of weekend gatherings at FBC. The English and Japanese language services and pastors support each other and the entire FBC community.
