    About This Organization

    Trinity has close to 50 years of history and heritage in its community. The current Lead Pastor, Bill Craig, arrived five years ago with the purpose of leading Trinity to become a healthier and stronger church. The church is now debt-free, healthier, and has the resources to accomplish a vision that will take faithful gospel seed throwers, who will think beyond the box to be a growing missional community to reach a growing unchurched city with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.     Trinity wants to be a sending church that equips people to be ministers of the Gospel in the places they live, work, play. How they serve and love their community is an important apologetic in geography and culture hostile to the Gospel. Trinity possesses a deep desire for continued growth in authentic, theologically sound, heartfelt, excellent worship.     Position Description

    The role of the Executive Pastor is to assist the Elders and Lead Pastor in ensuring that the systems, practices, activities, policies, and strategic ministry objectives of the church are effectively and efficiently achieved. The XP supports and develops the pastoral staff and ministry leaders, aligning them with the Trinity Church’s purpose and mission efforts. The XP reports to the Lead Pastor, working closely with him and the Elder Board. This requires a firm understanding of and agreement with the vision, mission, and core values of Trinity Church. A member of the pastoral team will enable the church to focus on carrying out the Great Commission and equip the church to carry out the mission and vision of Trinity Church, to Believe the Bible, belong to family, and Build Kingdom.

    Strategic Planning and Leadership:
    In conjunction with the Lead Pastor and Elder Board, the XP will support TC’s strategic planning and staff coordination in the execution of that plan. Help define strategic goals and vision as a key leader among staff and Elders.

    Mentor/Developer Responsibilities:
    This is the role of supporting and equipping pastoral staff and ministry leaders to succeed.
