    About This Organization

    Powerful and participatory worship experiences highlight worship services at Emmanuel Faith. The classic service features choir and orchestra, while the modern services feature small bands and 2-3 singers. With multiple services in multiple venues, EFCC attendees can attend the service that best enables them to connect with God.

    The staff culture is creativity, innovation, and looking to the future. Working together, the church leadership and family strive to creatively reach the local community for Jesus while at the same time placing a strong emphasis on reaching the world through strategic global ministries.

    Position Description

    The High School Pastor at EFCC guides students to live out their faith in Christ in their homes, schools, and communities so the name of Jesus can make a difference in North County, San Diego, and the world.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Program Management and Development
    • Create a fun environment to engage high school students in their faith.
    • Teach the Scriptures in a relevant and relatable way for student growth.
    • Ensure students take steps to engage in community with one another and on their campuses.

    Student Discipleship and Spiritual Care

    • Create multiple opportunities for students to engage in intentional communities centered around Jesus.
    • Create leadership opportunities within HS ministry and the church for students to use their God-given gifts.
    • Utilize interns, volunteers, and church ministries to ensure care is provided for students’ spiritual needs.
    • Partner and meet regularly with teachers and para-church organizations, like FCA and Cru.

    Team Building and Leadership

    • Develop a training opportunity for volunteers to be ready to disciple high school students.
    • Meets monthly with the volunteers to develop and vision-cast for the future of HS ministry
    • Meets intentionally with the intern team to develop them personally and professionally.
