Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall vision, leadership, and direction for eKids ministry across all environments
- Build and lead a healthy, growing team of staff and volunteers
- Create engaging, high-quality environments where kids experience their favorite hour of the week
- Recruit, develop, and retain volunteers with a strong, scalable system
- Strengthen and refine systems for scheduling, communication, and follow-up
- Coach and develop leaders and team members to increase effectiveness and ownership
- Ensure a safe, well-organized, and excellent experience for kids and families
- Partner with parents to support discipleship at home
- Collaborate with other ministries and staff to align with overall church vision
- Evaluate and improve ministry effectiveness through data, feedback, and observation
Key Qualifications
- Clear and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Passion for kids, families, and the local church
- Proven experience leading in children’s ministry, ideally in a larger church setting
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Ability to recruit, train, and retain volunteers at scale
- High level of organization and systems thinking
- Effective communicator with the ability to cast vision and inspire others
- Experience building engaging and dynamic ministry environments
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
