    Why We Love This Opportunity

Compass Church is seeking a leader of leaders to join this talented and gifted staff and committed congregation.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a very healthy church into a new season of dynamic regional ministry and influence for Jesus.

The board, staff, and congregation at Compass believe the best days are still ahead, and they are anxious to see how God works and who God leads to join the team!

    About This Organization

The mission of Compass Church is to save the unsaved.
Compass energizes this mission during the week and on the weekends through three strategic campus locations.

There are currently three campuses that make up Compass Church. The main campus is a large, 1,500 seat auditorium that is set up with first-class tech and audio and video support. It’s an impressive facility.

The second campus is where Compass holds a traditional worship service, and it was designed to be very stately, decorative, and traditional. The church has kept much of the original stained glass artwork, which has special meaning to the congregation that meets at this location.

The third campus is located in the nearby town of Marina. It is a small venue that has its own campus pastor and praise band. The sermon is broadcast from the main campus to this location each week.

Although agriculture is the foundation of the local economy, more than 100 manufacturing firms call Salinas home.

Their proximity to Monterey Bay influences Salinas’ weather. Afternoon breezes generally clear the morning fog. The average temperature is 68.2 degrees, with summer temperatures in the 70s which dip at night into the ’50s.
