Why I Love This Opportunity

John Luzadder

This is an incredible opportunity with an incredible view. Camp Como is a camp with a rich tradition of creating experiences for students to meet Christ and enjoy the outside. They are looking for the next great leader to continue these traditions for the next generations.

About This Organization

Camp Como sits on 160 acres at the foot of Little Baldy Mountain and Mt. Silverheels, one mile above the historic town of Como, Colorado, at an elevation of 10,125 feet and bordered on two sides by national forest property and governmental land.
In 1962, Colorado Christian Service Camp formed a corporation. 1964, they purchased the Rocking R Sky Ranch and established a Christian youth ministry. Today, the corporation operates under the name of Camp Como and offers summer and winter residential camps, off-site adventure camps, and year-round retreat facilities.
From Denver, it is an hour’s drive southwest on Highway 285 over the beautiful Kenosha Pass. From Colorado Springs, a 90-minute drive just northeast of Fairplay, Colorado.
