Charter Oak Church began in 1961 when Pastor Bob Richards started discipling neighbors and hosting services in his home. What began as a small neighborhood ministry grew steadily as the church invested in discipleship and community outreach. Over the decades, the church expanded its facilities and reach, including the opening of the Frye Farm Campus in 2005. Today Charter Oak Church includes multiple campuses and continues to pursue its vision of infusing passion for Jesus into the people of Westmoreland County by equipping disciples who make disciples.
