Why We Love This Opportunity

Agape International Missions (AIM) is considered one of the best Christian ministries fighting human sex trafficking. God is doing amazing work through the AIM’s ongoing programs in Cambodia, and the current staff is fully committed the mission. Due to the recent leadership transition, AIM is searching for the next CEO who will play a critical and pivotal role in elevating the organization operationally while building and creating unity throughout the culture across three continents.

About This Organization

Agape International Missions (AIM) is a Christ-led, non-denominational, not-for-profit organization that exists to glorify God through dedicated efforts to love, protect, and care for survivors of trafficking as well as other vulnerable and exploited individuals. When founders Don and Bridget Brewster heard that little children were being sold for sex every night, they did not turn their backs. In 2006, they moved to Cambodia to help fight for freedom and stand up for the oppressed.

AIM currently spans three continents with a US HQ in Roseville, California, and a dedicated staff of over 400 Cambodians throughout Cambodia. AIM is also currently expanding its mission in Belize. The last couple of years have been particularly challenging, but God has provided in remarkable ways. For the team in Cambodia, that provision came in the form of staff and programs that worked incredibly hard to operate despite COVID shutdowns and regulations. Our team in the United States came in the form of new opportunities to connect with supporters across the country and around the world — sometimes over Zoom, sometimes in person. For our team in Belize, it was the start of establishing restoration and reintegration programs in the country.

Position Description

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will advance the mission, vision, and core values established by AIM’s founders and affirmed by the Board. They will honor Jesus Christ by employing Biblical principles in the application of best business practices. Furthermore, the CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors, serving as their lead in corporate operations program oversight and to be the primary link between the ministry work conducted overseas and the operational support structure in the US.

The CEO is a mature Christian capable of discipling, developing, and growing others. He/She is a humble leader who is willing to listen, learn and empower all leaders in the organization. The CEO will be a visionary who can cast a realistic, engaging vision and create unity around it. They are a gifted communicator and an advocate providing AIM a greater voice in anti-trafficking circles and a broader donor base. And it is of utmost importance that the CEO is a leader who will bridge the gap between mission and business with solid decision-making skills.
