    Why We Love This Opportunity

After celebrating 20 years of impact, Africa New Life is growing into more communities and setting high goals for the years to come. Africa New Life is looking for the right Major Donor Officer to step into building this future, someone who can leverage their passion for the ministry with sustainable growth.

The Major Donor Officer (MDO) will be joining an up-and-coming organization with a five-year strategic plan for rapid ministry-wide growth. This position will play a critical role in meeting these strategic goals for fundraising, with opportunities each year to present fresh and creative ideas for advancement.

    About This Organization

Africa New Life Ministries exist to communicate the message of Jesus Christ in word and deed, to Africa and all the nations. This ministry will help all people to know about the relationship with God available to them through belief in Jesus as Savior. This will be accomplished by providing access to education, leadership training, and healthcare; through church planting and Christian discipleship; and through holistic care for vulnerable children, and women and men in need.

    Position Description

As a rapidly-growing organization that is transforming the lives of children in Rwanda through educational sponsorship, spiritual discipleship, health care, and community development, Africa New Life Ministries is looking for a skilled major donor representative who can further our efforts to build relationships with donors.

Over the years, Africa New Life’s most significant growth has come from the support of major donors and our strong church partnerships all over the U.S. The Africa New Life Major Donor Officer will be responsible for contacting existing Africa New Life donors and forming new relationships with donors in their region. They will dedicate their time exclusively to cultivating, networking, and relationship-building efforts, with minimal office responsibilities. This individual will be required to travel to Rwanda 2-4 times each year to lead vision teams of donors. This position’s success will be demonstrated through meeting or exceeding established funding goals from donors.
