Mission, Vision, and Values
OUR VISION: TO LEAD PEOPLE INTO LIFE-TRANSFORMING RELATIONSHIPS WITH JESUS.
OUR MISSION: CREATE MOMENTS THAT LEAD TO MOVEMENT. MOVEMENT TO COME, CONNECT, CHANGE, AND CONTRIBUTE.
Our 4 C’s:
- Come: Be present in one another’s lives and participate in inspiring worshi
- Connect: Connect with Jesus Christ and one another in authentic relationship
- Change: Be changed more and more to be like Jesus in both thoughts and action
- Contribute: To the Church through financial giving, acts of service and worship.
Staff Culture
- This isn’t a solo role. The church’s staff and elder team are collaborative and eager to work together to shape ministry. The person in this role won’t just be executing someone else’s playbook—they’ll be helping write it.
Challenges and Opportunities
- A New Chapter: The church is coming out of a season of transition and has clarity about what’s next. The leadership team is energized and seeking the right partner for this next season—someone who shares their passion for discipleship and can help translate vision into action.
- Following a Short Tenure: The previous hire in this role left after only a few months. While that transition wasn’t ideal, it provides a fresh opportunity. The church is ready to go deeper and grow stronger—without being locked into someone else’s systems or style.
- Growing with Intentionality: Lakeside is a growing congregation with a healthy cross-section of ages and backgrounds. There’s a strong hunger for depth, but systems for discipleship are still developing. The right leader will get to co-create those systems with the team.
