|Galilee Christian Church stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness over the past 147 years. This church is certainly not about the buildings, as rich a tradition as they serve. It is all about the people and shoulders of those who established this great work years ago and trusted God to build His church. Galilee’s experience has hardly been ordinary; from its inception years ago it has enjoyed growth, which has accelerated in recent years. This thriving community of Jefferson, GA, has become a highly sought after bedroom community of Atlanta. Although Galilee Christian Church is a well established community of believers, much of its history is yet to be told.
Galilee Christian Church is a non-denominational community yet a part of the Restoration Movement. Today, Galilee Christian has never been stronger! With over 700 each week in worship this community is experiencing its best days! Galilee is known for its strong, applicable, and Bible-based teaching, excellent children’s and student programming, and intentional focus on impacting their surrounding community through multiple outreach events and sports ministry. Under Senior Pastor, Nick Vipperman’s, leadership and an outstanding staff and board of elders, Galilee Christian is on the threshold of its most influential days of ministry, training, and outreach.

|Worship at Galilee Christian Church plays a significant role in carrying out the mission of the church. The songs they sing, the style of music selected, and the genuineness and engagement desired in those leading all point to a heart for Christ-centered worship that blesses the heart of God, engages believers, and points the lost to Jesus. The worship style at Galilee is a healthy blend that leans towards the modern and engages the demographic and community. Corporate worship music and musical features are reminiscent of Hillsong, Passion, Vertical, Elevation, with a balance of classic worship songs and reimagined hymn arrangements.
It is absolutely vital that the worship minister be able to connect with and capture the congregation, engaging them in active participation. His pastoral heart, passion for the Lord, the people, and the team must be genuine, contagious and believable. The ability for this leader to engage the Word of God with knowledge, authority and passion is important. This leader will bring oversight, management, and visionary leadership to the worship services, music teams, and all technical teams. He will work closely with the Senior, Student, and Children’s Pastors in the growth and expansion of worship ministry opportunities.
