Knott Avenue Christian Church is a non-denominational Christian church founded in 1956 by a group of 22 people who had a vision for their community and the courage to walk it out.
Knott Avenue Christian Church is far more than just a building, it’s a community of people committed to live out a purpose to Meet Together, Do Life Together, and Make A Difference Together. KACC celebrates the ethnic and generational diversity both within their congregation and staff. They are clearly a church who reflects the community around them.
|Position Description *|
|The culture of the worship ministry team is moderately healthy but needs a life-giving, invested, spiritual and musical leader who will build, train, develop and disciple worshippers. KACC desires a leader who is passionate about team building and possesses a communication style that speaks life into people, bringing out the best in them. This team, while very gifted, desires to be grown and strengthened musically, creatively, and in number. The right leader will be one who leads by influence and not just position. This person will possess strong instrumental and vocal skills as well as a heart for God and active walk with Jesus.
This leader will bring oversight, management, and visionary leadership to the KACC Worship & Technical Ministry. They will serve as the primary worship leader for weekend gatherings while also raising up a team around them, having a desire to give leadership away. They will work closely with Lead Pastor, Paul Crandall, in the growth and expansion of creative expression within the context of weekend services. Realizing the importance of raising up next generation leaders, the Worship Pastor will assist in setting the worship culture across the organization creating pathways for development and empowering others.
