DSM First is a growing multi-site Church in the Des Moines Metro area. Their passion is to honor God by loving and leading others to become wholehearted followers of Christ. This is a place that values the presence of God, outreach to the community, and a multi-generational approach to ministry. DSM First has a Des Moines campus as well as a new campus in Ankeny, which is the 4th fastest growing city in the country. Des Moines is a great place to live. Millennials are flocking to this city to avoid over-saturated and expensive cities like Chicago and New York.

Pastor Cullen Allen is the new Lead Pastor at DSM First. With over 20 years of full time ministry experience, he is excited to step into the ministry momentum that the church is experiencing. God is at work in Iowa and DSM First is on the cutting edge of that movement.

Position Description *
The Worship Pastor at DSM First is stepping into an exciting new season of momentum. A new Lead Pastor has just been hired, who is full of vision for this great church. This new leader needs to be a strong worship leader with a heart to lead multi-generational worship. There needs to be an honoring of past styles and songs but also a vision to break new ground and lead the church forward in modern expressions of worship.

But not only does the Worship Pastor need to lead worship, they need to lead people. This is a role about raising up worship leaders, coaching musicians, building teams, and casting vision. As the church continues to grow, more campuses will be planted which will grow the need for worship leaders and teams.
