Worship Leader / Architect
Pacific Crossroads Church
|Church or Org Description *|
|Pacific Crossroads Church began as a prayer group and Bible study on the Westside of Los Angeles in 1999. In 2006, while flourishing and growing even without official leadership, Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City invested in Pacific Crossroads in the hope that it could become a gospel-centered resource church to love and serve the city of Los Angeles.
It was then that Rankin Wilbourne became the pastor of Pacific Crossroads, to “re-plant” the church. Since that time, the church has continued to see the growth that has allowed it to begin a series of new church plants, with the first in the Pasadena region of the San Gabriel Valley. With 90 community groups and hundreds of volunteers serving through Hope for LA, the mercy and justice arm of our church, we continue in the hope of our vision to see lives transformed by God’s power, renewing Los Angeles for Christ.

|PCC is looking for an artist/shepherd — with a high level of musical ability and excellence with a pastor’s heart for loving and shepherding a talented worship community. A high capacity leader is critical to meet the challenge of this unique dual campus church. Morning services are held in Barnum Hall on the campus of Santa Monica High School, and the evening service is held 25 minutes away in Downtown LA, near USC, at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Pacific Crossroads is blessed with a strong team of talented musicians, a number of whom play professionally on the road and as session musicians. A solid rotational team of worship leaders is in place as well, freeing up a new Worship Architect to only be on the platform leading worship about once a month or so at each campus. Rolled into the Architect role is that of ‘Musical Director’, leading and maximizing this talented team of people, inspiring them to play and give at the ‘next level’.
