|In October 1980, this church first gathered for worship in an elementary school in Carmel, Indiana. Today it is one Church in eleven locations across central Indiana, and was recently listed by Outreach Magazine as the second-fastest-growing church in the country. Currently, about 10,000 people gather for worship across their seven physical campuses and four prison campuses each weekend.
Lead Pastor Steve Poe has served the Northview family for 17 years. Steve is the second pastor to lead this church in its 36-year history. He is a compelling and empowering leader and teacher – a visionary who has led this church through a three-phase building project, transitioned it to a multi-campus model and pastored his team and congregation from a church of 800 to one of the largest churches in Indiana.
|Position Description *|
|The Video Director will work closely with others as a positive and encouraging member of the Northview Creative Team. They will serve with the Lead Video Director, Jason Chapman, as a visual artist telling the stories of Northview as well as driving creative video content for weekend worship gatherings. This person will be responsible for creating video content related to teaching series, promotional videos, testimony videos and more. They must be able to work with Jason to develop compelling story ideas and concepts that relate to the ministry and culture of the church.
The ideal candidate will be ‘Jack of all trades’ with regards to type of video that needs to be created. Someone comfortable planning/storyboarding, directing, overseeing the entire shoot – whether that be announcement videos, music videos, promos, testimonials etc. Someone who has background recruiting, training and leading up volunteers. They will need to be proficient at shooting & editing (with some animation experience) on a cinema or DSLR type set up. They are looking for someone who is extremely organized, dependable and an all around team player.
