It is characterized by things like: Sunday services that feature modern worship, anchored in the ancient practices of the church.Team-based preaching that is deeply rooted in the Scriptures, with a strong bent towards spiritual formation and missional engagement. Vibrant children’s ministry and student ministry founded on a strong, church-wide conviction of raising up the next generation for Christ. Faith Paths training curriculum aimed at coaching parents to disciple their children and teenagers. Transformational local and global ministry partnerships. Adult ministries including sermon-based small groups, communities for women and men, Alpha, Marriage Matters, and spiritual formation training throughout the year. Crossway’s leadership style is very collaborative and team-based. Position Description

Crossway is looking for a Student Pastor to lead a team of volunteers who partner with families to help students become fully developing followers of Christ. This leader will be responsible to::

Apply and demonstrate Crossway’s values, mission and strategy to students.

Be intentional about connecting with students and building relationships with them outside of Sunday services and student programming.

Increase student involvement in student ministry and connect students to larger church body.

Provide overall leadership, vision and structure within the student ministry that includes all campuses.

Develop and oversee programs, outreach events and service opportunities for students and families.

Recruit, train and encourage volunteers.

Regularly review, evaluate and update the curriculum and materials for the student ministry.

Regularly review, evaluate, and update the safety procedures and policies related to student ministry.

Ensure a clean, safe and inviting environment for students (physically, emotionally, and spiritually) at all times.

Fully utilize available administrative technologies to effectively impact student ministries.
