Student Ministries Director
St. Andrew's Church
We are so excited to partner with St. Andrew’s Church because it is LITERALLY rebuilding everything! In 2018 St. Andrew’s experienced a massive fire they are now living by the slogan #BeautyFromAshes and the timing couldn’t be more perfect for a new Director of Student Ministries!
Church Description *
|St. Andrew’s Church has stood as a pillar in Mt. Pleasant and the greater Charleston area. The Church has expanded to three campuses to better serve the growing Charleston area as they become “one Church in multiple locations.” Attendance hovers around 1200 people weekly across the multiple services. The people of St. Andrew’s come from a wide variety of church traditions, while others have little or no church background at all. The members and attendees range in age from newborn to over 90, with an average age around 33. The church seeks to present to all people the good news of Jesus Christ both intellectually and experientially; they are committed to Truth; they listen to God’s Word; they feed the poor and take in the lost and as they seek to demonstrate God’s mercy both at home and around the world.
On April 22, 2018, St. Andrew’s suffered a massive fire at the Mt Pleasant location. The Ministry Center was destroyed. St. Andrew’s Church is in the midst of a large and successful building and rebuilding project that will include 35,000 square feet of new space dedicated to children, youth, and adult Christian education.
