Recently, a two-year initiative was just completed, designed to prepare CPCC to connect 10,000 people to Christ by the year 2020. Environments on the campus have been expanded for children, students and adults.

CPCC has a strong focus on excellent weekend services where they pride themselves on multi-generational worship. Small Groups are vital to our organization and a common thread for the church body. They emphasize small groups and their importance from birth to adulthood.

Position Description *

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The Small Groups Director will cast vision and align resources to create a culture of small groups at Connection Pointe main campus and digitally that reflects the vision, values and culture of Connection Pointe. This position will oversee both the campus and the digital teams related to small groups including placement strategies, curriculum development and execution of Reach, Care, Discipleship rhythms within small groups.

  1. Develop and implement overall Small Group Strategy.
  2. Cast vision and lead the Small Groups Department both on the campus and digitally.
  3. Coordinate effectively with weekend teams to connect small groups to campus wide series, activities and rhythms of reach, care and discipleship weekends.
  4. Work closely with digital team and On-Line Pastor for digital groups oversight and growth.
  5. Oversee curriculum development for both campus groups and digital.
  6. Establish simple, clear onramps and processes for placement and assimilation of church body in to campus groups including new believers and longtime Christ followers.
  7. Create and develop “start up kits” allowing people to start a new group anywhere, anytime either locally or digitally.
  8. Plan and execute regular small group leader trainings and coaching opportunities both on campus and on-line
  9. Grow a lay led coaching model.
