Why We Love This Opportunity
Brazos Pointe Fellowship is an exciting and vibrant church with a healthy staff team and heart for the unchurched. As Brazos Pointe Fellowship continues to expand their multi-site model, the church is looking for a high-level leader to oversee the small group ministries. The Small Groups Pastor will have an opportunity to shape other leaders and have a significant impact for the Kingdom across the Lake Jackson, Texas area and beyond. This is an opportunity to serve in a great church with a great team!
In 2001, Brazos Pointe Fellowship commissioned a group of 80 adults and teens to reach the unchurched of Brazoria County. Their first four years were spent in an intermediate school, followed by eight more in a converted storefront. In 2013 BPF moved to a newly constructed campus that sits on 48 acres of wooded land just west of Lake Jackson.
Over the years BPF has had a growing presence in the communities of Brazoria County, drawing people from diverse backgrounds in a 40-mile radius. In 2018 they added a second Mid County Campus in Angleton.
The mission of BPF is to Guide people to take their next step with God.
Nearly two decades into the journey, their passion to be a church for the unchurched is as strong as ever.
Brazos Pointe Fellowship seeks to be a church of small groups rather than a church with small groups. They believe everyone needs community. Bible Study (Message-Based Curriculum) is one of the most significant parts of their small groups, but it is not the only part.
The Small Groups Pastor will cast vision and align resources to create a culture of small groups at Brazos Pointe Fellowship that reflects the vision, values and culture of BPF.
