Position Description *
|Hillcrest Bible Church is searching for a Senior Pastor of great vision, passion, and maturity whose heart is burdened for the lost and seeks to carry out the Great Commission by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Senior Pastor of HBC will serve the Body of Christ through preaching, teaching and shepherding of the Hillcrest family and witnessing to the surrounding community. The Senior Pastor will be accountable to and a vital part of the Hillcrest Elder Board and will serve as both leader and mentor to the HBC staff and Leadership Team.The man seeking this role must possess godly character, have proven leadership, and be an effective communicator. He must be authentic in his everyday life and spiritual walk – the same person on and off stage, inside and outside the church.
This opportunity will present the right man with leadership of an optimistic congregation into a fruitful season of ministry and a functional campus with possible land to expand. Basic qualifications include a degree from an accredited Christian college or university and a minimum of five years of experience in a full-time associate or other pastoral ministry and church leadership.
