Located in the heart of Boston, historic Park Street Church (PSC) has had three defining characteristics throughout its 209-year history: a commitment to excellent preaching of the inerrant Word of God, spreading that Gospel to the ends of the earth, and the training of its people to live out the transforming power of the love of Christ in every area of their lives.

PSC is a faithful member of the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference and has approximately 1,200 members devoted to the pursuit of truth in the company of friends, and the proclamation of the gospel to the ends of the earth. This Protestant, Evangelical, and Reformed church has witnessed the preaching of William Lloyd Garrison, Charles Finney, Billy Sunday, Harold J. Ockenga, and Billy Graham. Their emphasis on global missions has resulted in over 440 missionaries sent out to 98 countries, as well as the founding of one of the nation’s first mission organizations. Park Street Church is looking for a Senior Minister to lead the church into God’s future, even brighter than its illustrious past.


Position Description *

Park Street Church seeks a Senior Minister who will be:
A substantive expository preacher
A humble visionary leader
A prophetic cultural ambassador
A practical theological trainerThe right candidate will have ministerial leadership with at least 6 years in a large church, a relevant Doctorate (Ph.D. preferred) and a Masters Degree from an evangelical seminary with strong command of biblical languages. In the heart of Boston, the Athens of the United States, this person will actively engage with diverse perspectives while holding strongly to orthodoxy, including inerrancy of scripture. They will possess the qualifications of an Elder according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1.
