Why We Love This Opportunity
Outreach Community Ministries is in the midst of transition. Not only in terms of leadership personnel and next-gen leaders, but also pursuing a more team-based leadership style that better aligns and unifies the various teams across the whole of OCM. The Senior Clinical Officer role requires a confident, articulate leader who fits with our team looking to take OCM to the next level as an organization with excellence.
Outreach Community Ministries (OCM) is a faith-based community service organization that has provided services to at-risk populations in DuPage County since 1971. They operate and do business as five community-based agencies – Wheaton Youth Outreach (WYO), Warrenville Youth and Family Services, the Outreach Community Center in Carol Stream, Puente del Pueblo in West Chicago, and the York Community Resource Center in Villa Park.
The mission is to restore hope and provide opportunities for people to become all that God intends them to be; partner with the local church to put Christian faith into action through service to the community.
OCM’s mission focus is serving the most vulnerable children, teens and families in DuPage County. They serve people of all races, ethnicities, creeds, gender and orientation regardless of their ability to pay.
The Senior Clinical Officer will supervise all direct services of the OCM site-based counseling programs and the Assessment Clinic. The Senior Clinical Officer will directly supervise the counseling program directors at each site, lead clinical staff at the Assessment Clinic and the Practice Manager.
The Senior Clinical Officer will be responsible for the supervision of professional staff, planning and program development, outcome reports, financial management and coordination of services between programs. Responsibilities will also include the development of community relationships and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the counseling programs as well as the psychological assessment program.
