|Frisco First Baptist Church is a healthy middle & upper middle class, multi-generational, vibrant community church in the heart of the city, reaching young families and beyond with genuine worship, challenging ministry and smart programming that changes lives. Through creativity, song, and originality their desire is to see the arts in the church reflect and point to the full gospel. Through every service, they aim to tell of the finished and complete work of Christ’s death, burial, and victorious resurrection.
The services at Frisco First Baptist are planned and purposeful in engagement, challenging through preaching, and inviting through response. Production Arts includes modern audio, video, and lighting integration and usage. They believe that it is the call and position of the Worship Arts Ministry (including Production Arts) to serve, lead, and grow the church to point to Jesus through the arts; giving Him all the glory, the fullest honor, and the highest praise. A growing team exists here of over 70 talented arts volunteers across ministry areas. The church is excited for the present and expectant for the future of ministry in Frisco and beyond.
|Position Description *|
|The Production Arts Director will lead a growing team of about 25 volunteers, as well as contracted people. The new hire will be responsible for maintaining and managing all audio, visual, and lighting systems used for live productions and for managing the technical staff needed to run these systems. On Sunday mornings, three venues run simultaneously for adults, students, and kids and are designed to provide age-appropriate environments for each group. The Production Arts Director will help to ensure quality and continuity across these venues while also working to standardize processes and systems.
The new Production Arts Director should be a servant leader with a love for people and a heart to shepherd and support those serving on the production team. The individual must possess good organizational skills, be able to prioritize responsibilities, and meet necessary deadlines. The staff at Frisco First Baptist is a tightly knit team who work hard and love to have fun. Someone who is a fun-loving, team player who works well with others is desired.
