NextGen/Family Ministry Pastor

Not every legacy congregation answers the call to forge a new path. Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church is bringing on a NextGen/Family Pastor who will strategize, shape, and steer its children’s and student ministries long into the future. With a new young Lead Pastor, the retiring of its 19-year veteran Children’s Ministry Director, and the departure of its High School Pastor to return to seminary, God has opened the door for renewed leadership over these key areas of congregational life and community mission. They’re not looking for someone with all the answers, but instead a relational leader-of-leaders who asks fantastic questions and empowers people for practical ministry. Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church is on the cusp of an era of dynamic disciple-making. The revitalized leadership is making bold moves to connect its community with God, one another, and the world through the love of Christ…especially among kids, students, and families.

Church Description

Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church (CEPC) takes on a fresh approach to ministry through its artful blend of old and new, traditional and contemporary. People from all generations call this church home, including legacy members and newer congregants looking for heartfelt worship, teaching, and community life. Having recently navigated the succession of its longstanding senior pastor, the church is moving forward with renewed hope and momentum under its young Lead Pastor, Chris Winans.

This 33-year old family of faith of 1,100-1,250 attendees is respected in its community for consistent biblical teaching and uplifting traditional/contemporary-style services. People in the surrounding areas are drawn to engage actively in Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church’s robust offering of discipleship classes/experiences for all ages, as well as its family-focused programming, array of support ministries, and longstanding commitment to local/global missions. Many younger families are also connected to the church through Cornerstone Christian School (pre-k through 8th grade). Building on its spiritually and relationally rich heritage, the church desires to move in to the future by connecting its community with God, one another, and the world through the love of Christ.
