|Park Community Church began over 31 years ago in the community of Lincoln Park with a mission to engage people in the city of Chicago with the life-changing truth of Jesus Christ. In 2007 Park opened its second location, thus beginning a movement of people in the city of Chicago which has now grown to 8 locations reaching over 3500 in the urban and thriving communities of this influential city.
While many individuals and families throughout Chicago eventually make a home in the suburbs of Chicagoland and beyond, the people of Park believe God has specifically called them to the urban centers of Chicago proper. It is their desire to see the city renewed as people who call Park home live life on mission. They believe community transformation and renewal begins on a single street in a single neighborhood and ripples out from there until the city is transformed.
This Gospel-centered church is committed to leading people towards a life focused on the finished work of Jesus, the hope of the Gospel as declared in God’s Word, and the way this truth transforms us into becoming fully devoted disciples of Jesus.

|The culture of the worship ministry at Park LP is quite healthy. However, they are lacking a strategic and invested leader to move them forward towards new levels of effectiveness, creativity, and connection. The culture of Lincoln Park is made up of young adults, families, and professionals who live and do life in the city.
It’s important that Park LP find a committed, invested, spiritual and musical leader who will build, train, develop, disciple and show genuine care for others. Park LP desires a leader who is passionate about team building and possesses a communication style that speaks life into people, bringing out the best in them. The creative team specifically, while gifted, desires to be grown and strengthened musically, creatively, and in number.
This leader will bring oversight, management, and visionary leadership to Park LP’s Worship & Creative Ministry. They will serve as a worship leader for weekend gatherings while continuing to raise up a team around them, having a desire to give leadership away. Park LP would love to have a leader who would also contribute to discipleship, spiritual formation and relationships. A leader with a pastor/shepherd’s heart would thrive in this culture!
