|North Church has a growing excitement and expectation within the body about the future of the church There is unity among the leadership about the vision and direction of the church. Guests are positive about the church, with many recognizing their need for Jesus and a place to belong. North Church remains affiliated with the Acts 29 network of churches. The church invests not only in its leaders today, but also in the next generation, offering Gospel-centered, community-focused programs for children, students, and adults. It encourages its members and guests to participate in men’s and women’s ministries, as well as Community Groups and Redemption Groups. These small groups are what make North Church feel like a family even as it remains a fairly large congregation.
North Church is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico’s largest city, and it sits in the high desert. Its modern Downtown core contrasts with Old Town Albuquerque, dating to the city’s 1706 founding as a Spanish colony. North Church’s mission is stated in the form of a prayer: “We pray that Jesus’ glory will grow in Albuquerque and beyond as we live out the gospel for the good of our neighbors and the nations.”
