Chief Executive Officer

This position has been filled.

Empart Global exists to Reach, Restore, Release and Resource indigenous Christian leaders to transform communities among the most unreached and needy in Asia. Their primary goal is to see 100,000 communities transformed and established among the lost people in Asia by 2030, which will be accomplished by training indigenous leaders, empowering women, caring for widows & children, and transforming communities. Empart USA works to identify and nurture relationships into sustainable partnerships that will raise funds to resource these indigenous Christian leaders.

In South Asia, the organization has year-long, residential discipleship training centers that develop indigenous leaders who are then commissioned to go out and transform and develop communities. They currently have trained over 8,000 indigenous leaders who are now overseeing 30,000 transformed communities. Empart also has 15 schools (some residential), economic development programs, wells, toilets and various other programs to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the lost and impoverished in South Asia.

Empart is a mix of European, Australian, South Asian, and North American cultures. Each country has its own board, staff, systems and unique working culture, but they also have a global culture that, at its core, is dedicated to seeing the lost people of South Asia reached with the gospel in word and deed.

Each partner country has its own board and functions independently of each other, conforming to the particulars of each country. South Asia also has its own board. There is an Executive Board made up of representatives from each of the four hubs (South Asia, Pacific, European, and the Americas). In the U.S., there are currently six board members, and the largest supporting/partner countries are (#1) Australia, (#2) Switzerland and (#3) the United States.

The U.S. team consists of two full-time staff in the Denver office (the President and the Director of Office Administration), a part-time Relationship Manager in Washington State, a contract Marketing & Communications Director in Castle Rock, CO, and a contract CPA in Colorado Springs. Additional hires are planned. Empart’s U.S. income in 2018 was $3.4 million (with US office expenses of $436,000) and is projected to be $4.6 million in 2019 (with US office expenses of $705,000). Empart USA has grown 140% over the last three years, including by 63% in 2018.

The new Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for and oversee all of the day-to-day activities of the organization, including operational, fundraising and marketing. This will include two major overarching responsibilities: [1] working with major, mid-level and sustaining donors as well as donor administration, and [2] the coordination, management and monitoring of operations, finance, IT, legal compliance, human resources, and marketing. This role will require a hands-on approach within both donor development and operations in addition to providing leadership to all day-to-day operations. S/he role will work closely with the Board of Directors, the President—who oversees church engagement, vision trips/mission trips, and foundations/grants—and with global partner countries and field countries. There is a strong preference for this person to reside in the Denver/Colorado Springs area, but working remotely is also a possibility.

  • Passionate about church planting and seeing people in south Asia become Christians.
  • At least five (5) years of leadership-level experience in some combination of Sales/Marketing/Development/Donor Relations and Financial/Operations Management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff.
  • Proven knowledge and successful implementation of fundraising “best practices”.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Budget development and oversight experience; full P&L responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Proven knowledge of tax and other compliance implications of nonprofit status.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
