360 Church was planted in June, 2006 with Steve McCoy as the founding pastor, his wife, Carrie, and 6 other people.
Here are the footprints that 360 Church were committed to establishing from the outset:
- One-to-one disciple-making would be at the core of our DNA.
- Simplicity would be a key tactic in shaping our culture.
- Clarity of strategy would be critical.
The DNA of 360 Church is captured in simple three-circles (Big Circle, Mid Circle, and Small Circle). The Big Circle represents collective worship services, the Mid Circle represents groups, and the Small Circle represents one-to-one relationships. This is the focus of 360 Church.
360 Church has created and published a discipleship pathway and process that is now being used in churches in more than 45 states and 25 countries. The heart of 360 Church is impact lives in Sarasota and around the world.

Position Description *
The Associate Pastor – Relational Catalyst is responsible for the overall spiritual health and growth of adults at 360 Church. This position provides direct leadership for all adult groups, one-to-one discipleship and next generation ministry leaders and church planters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Group Strategy – Develop and implement a groups ministry strategy based upon groups being a location for relationships, a place for spiritual growth and care, and a spring board to one-to-one discipleship connections.
One-to-one Discipleship (Xchange) – Facilitating Connections by developing and implementing a strategy to connect people in one-to-one discipleship pairings.
Next Generation Leadership – Develop and implement a leadership and mentoring process for next generation leaders in the church, including, but not limited to, lay ministry leaders, church planters, local missions partners, etc.
Staff Spiritual Health – Take lead in the mentoring of spiritual health, gifting and capacity for the church staff (staff retreat, sabbath, etc.)
