Why We Love This Opportunity
The Creative Media Director at House of David/Curt Landry Ministries will set goals to increase online engagement, turning new leads into engaged disciples. Creating and delivering content consistent with the voice and tone of the ministry will require someone who can implement new processes and delegate to staff and volunteers for sustained growth.
Currently, the ministry has one paid production manager onsite and has outsourced much of their “major project” production to keep up with the demand. Moving into 2021, House of David/Curt Landry Ministries would like to see the creative department grow; there is potential to add additional staff once the new Creative Media Director is hired. This need will require the CMD to have good leadership, training, team leading, team building, and project management skills.
Ultimately, House of David and Curt Landry Ministries envisions using media platforms to empower families to leave a legacy of faith for generations to come.
Church or Org Description
House of David was founded in early 2000 by Curt and Christie Landry. Since then, the congregation has been meeting for Shabbat worship services every Friday at 7 pm. Just a few years before launching House of David, The Landry’s had committed to full-time ministry, helping the poor in Israel with humanitarian aid through various ministries.
Curt’s calling is deeply rooted in his reconnection with his Jewish roots after being separated from his biological family at birth. Believing that “our greatest ministry comes out of our deepest hurt,” Curt Landry Ministries and the House of David congregation now co-labor to reclaim the forgotten heritage of the Hebraic roots of Christianity. Curt Landry Ministries is primarily an online ministry platform with a physical location in partnership with House of David. Currently, Curt Landry Ministries YouTube channel has more than 41,000 subscribers. Streaming media is the primary vehicle for the ministry’s voice, while social media platforms facilitate online engagement and deeper connection with discipleship resources.
They are actively involved with humanitarian aid outreaches in many areas of the world including Israel, Indonesia, Ukraine, Hurricane Katrina victims, Togo, Haiti, and Nicaragua.
