Position Description *
Redemption Church is searching for a Children’s Minister to serve as the spiritual shepherd of the children and families of Redemption.
The Children’s Minister is responsible for executing the strategy, vision and values of Redemption Church and translating it into a vibrant and effective children’s ministry for about 300 kids. This leader will act as primary overseer for ministries to kids birth – 5th grade, including some oversight of the West Mobile Campus children’s ministry and the Children’s Minister there. The Children’s Minister will also oversee a handful of staff at the North Mobile campus.
The right leader is a strong relational leader who is passionate about reaching children, developing and loving on volunteers, resourcing families, and raising up the next generation to know and love Jesus. The right candidate will have experience in a growing children’s ministry and/or teaching environment, experience leading staff and/or volunteer teams, be a gifted communicator on stage, one-on-one and written, be aligned with the teachings of the Southern Baptist Convention, and be excited about jumping in with this fantastic team.
