Central Worship Director

Savannah,

Georgia

Why We Love This Opportunity
If you’re a leader of leaders with experience in multisite worship ministry and find your greatest joy in pastoring and raising up other worship pastors and leaders towards missional effectiveness then this opportunity at Compassion Christian may be perfect for you! Compassion is seeking an experienced and proven leader with excellent worship leading ability and a humble heart to serve as their new Central Worship Director. This leader will bring pastoral, missional, and creative direction to the Campus Worship Pastors of this growing church of 8500 with 6 locations.
Church or Org Description
From their beginnings 55 years ago meeting each week in a Savannah bank to now gathering in 6 locations which extend well beyond the limits of Savannah, Compassion Christian Church remains committed to leading people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus. Founded in 1964 with 30 people as Savannah Christian Church this community was focused on allowing the truth of scripture to inform and activate them into becoming disciples of Christ.

God has continued to bless this church as they have stayed committed to “keeping the main thing the main thing”. In light of the tremendous growth this church began to experience as they added campuses outside of Savannah they decided to change their name in 2016.  They wanted a name that was no longer going to be geographically limiting to them.  This is when the name changed to Compassion Christian Church.

Compassion Christian is certainly heading into their most effective days of ministry and outreach.  This growing church of 8500 meets across 6 locations with more to come in the future.  This is an incredible time to step into the story God is writing at Compassion.
