Why We Love This Opportunity
Grace Church has a passion for people and they are eagerly anticipating the addition of this strategic leader to their team. This position is an exciting, creative merger of two historically separate people-oriented roles. With organization-wide oversight of both Human Resources and Leadership Development at a church with the reach and impact of one like Grace, the right next-level leader is going to love their work as they assist Grace in leading their team into the future!! If you’re a seasoned, Kingdom-minded HR pro with a passion to see thousands of people developed to their maximum impact for Jesus into a broken world, this is the role for you!
Grace Church was started as a church plant in 1991 by a church on the north side of Indianapolis. Grace started in a leased office building/warehouse in the northern suburbs of Indianapolis. Over 600 people gathered on the first Sunday and the church grew rapidly. In 1997 Grace moved to a permanent location on 146th Street and continued to grow.
Over the past several years Grace has opened a comprehensive Care Center, added two campuses, and has been involved in planting several churches in the community, the state of Indiana, and internationally.
Grace Church has recently navigated some very important theological, philosophical, and leadership transitions, including a very thorough and intentional succession of their founding senior pastor, a process which spanned almost a decade from first conversation until June 1, 2020, when Pastor Barry Rodriguez fully assumed the role. Pre COVID-19 Grace Church averaged 3,200 weekly congregants across its three campuses.
This team is passionate about the redemptive mission God has called them to in this season and there are critical, exciting days ahead as they lead Grace Church into the future of ministry in Noblesville, Indianapolis and beyond!
It’s an exciting time to be a leader at Grace Church!
