This position is at the main campus of this 4-campus multi-site church and will join a healthy team of people already pouring into the families of SBC. The kid’s team is healthy and continuing to grow with support from a veteran central team. Because of God’s faithfulness, Scottsdale Bible Church has launched campuses to expand its Kingdom impact across the Phoenix Valley. The Shea campus is the original SBC site and is home to most of the roughly 7,500 people in attendance on the weekend. 

Position Description 

Discovery Kids (DK) serves families and kids from birth-4th grade. The Associate Kids Director will be tasked with building teams and executing the program for either Preschool/Kindergarten or 1-4 Grade kids at the Shea campus. The Central Leadership of NextGen and Kids Ministry are experienced pastors with a huge heart to build and support their various campus teams.

SBC is looking for candidates with a strong Biblical foundation, excellent recruiting skills, and a self-starting team builder ready to build upon the foundation already in place. They are also looking for:

  • A proven ability to cast vision, build teams and execute ministry.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • A teachable spirit and a desire to grow in the SBC way of doing ministry.
  • A heart for service and a desire to show up for people where they are.
