Succession

“The biggest reason organizational changes fail is that no one has thought about endings or planned to manage their impact on people.”

~William Bridges

The Stakes Are High

Every church facing the departure of their Senior Pastor wants to get it right. Often the conversations are difficult and delicate. Yet the future of the church is at stake. We believe it truly is possible to lead a church through a healthy transition that will honor the past and imagine a new future marked by even greater impact.

Don’t Do It Alone

For any Church Succession team, this is often new territory. There is no one right way to do Succession, but there are definitely principles and guidelines that have proven to serve other churches who have gone before you. An outside perspective can prove to be invaluable to your entire team.

Let Us Guide You

We would love the privilege and opportunity to walk with you through the entire Succession process – from the earliest conversations all the way to the passing of the baton to your new Senior Pastor. We will custom design a plan and a timeline that will serve your unique situation. Nancy Beach is a seasoned church leader with over three decades of ministry experience. She will bring her highly intuitive relational skills to walk alongside your team. If a Search is required for a new pastor, Todd Clark will lead that part of the process. Todd brings years of experience to the Senior Pastor role and Search process, offering a massive network of relationships for potential candidates.

How To Get Started

We offer you an exploratory phone call, free of charge, to begin the conversation. This call can either be with an individual on your team or with a group of leaders. If you choose to engage us from there, we will schedule an Assessment Visit to your church which will result in a document showing our recommendations for a Plan and a Timeline.
