Youth Minister
Fremont Community Church

Fremont, California
Church Description *
Fremont Community Church was founded in fall 1973 as an interdenominational church. FCC is known for not only a tremendous ministry within the congregation and its pre-5th grade school, but also for the extremely high value placed on working with the other evangelical congregations in the Fremont TriCities.

FCC is a vibrant, unique, and friendly church. There is an overwhelming sense that this is a community of real people with real faith! FCC has a passion and vision for city of Fremont and beyond. There is tangible excitement and energy, reflected in a multi-ethnic community. There is a committed core of leaders, consistent biblical, relational and creative teaching, and an obvious desire to settle for nothing less than authentic, theologically sound, and Christ-honoring worship. The desire is to have a congregation that is representative of the local demographics, and this church is soundly focused on being a light in the area.

FCC’s ministry approach is focused and intentional this season: make disciples who make disciples. There’s a commitment to move from participation to multiplication. FCC doesn’t want to become a big church, they want to become THE church. Leadership believes that it’s not about building their kingdom, but building THE Kingdom. Thus, ministry is being arranged about being a missional community in their spiritually dark community.

Under the new leadership of Lead Minister Dave Chae, FCC’s vision moving forward is “UP, IN, OUT” – to love God, love each other, and love people different from us”. Their mission is to make disciples of all nations, who make disciples of all nations.

Within the youth ministry, there’s an opportunity for development. You wouldn’t be a lone ranger! If you like a challenge, have a bent for innovation, and have a willingness to change, this is a tremendous opportunity.
