|Cornerstone Church in Litchfield, Minnesota is a thriving and growing church family. Their mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to carry out this mission within the essential context of relationship. “We are a group of people who take our calling seriously without taking ourselves too seriously,” says Executive Pastor Martin Allen. “We work hard but also have a ton of fun.”
Around 1,100 from every generation worship together each week with a programming emphasis on young families in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. A large percentage of the body actively engages in ministry throughout the week. They are recognized in the community as the place where all are welcomed, regardless of their backgrounds. A healthy culture of “family” embraces people from all walks of life into authentic relationship. Cornerstone is known for its community involvement, having made numerous intentional and bold steps in connecting with and serving diverse people in need.
If it is true that facility reflects who we are, then Cornerstone is a place that is excellent, places the next generation first, and is not afraid of bold moves to advance the Gospel. The facility is stunning and well-maintained, unlike anything else in its region. The Kid Ministry and Student Ministry facility is top shelf.
Cornerstone’s solid commitment on Sunday mornings to provide unpretentious Bible teaching with real-life application reveals ongoing transformation. “We help people connect to a real God in a grace-filled, safe, and relevant setting,” says Senior Pastor Paul Jorgensen. Paul’s conversational approach on stage projects this.

Our desire is to know and serve each other well. Check out this video about the worship ministry to catch the spirit of the team.
