Christ's Church of Federal Way
|Church Description *|
|Nestled between Seattle and Tacoma, Christ’s Church has been a faith community in Federal Way, Washington for 44 years. Christ’s Church is fulfilling its mission – to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ, one person at a time, through intentional relationships – through its strong evangelical presence, children’s and family ministries, Life Groups, and community involvement. The church campus is comprised of a combination of buildings, including a beautiful 700-seat worship center built in 2004. In addition, the church has a multi-purpose building, children’s and youth facilities, and multiple adult classrooms.
Currently, worship at Christ’s Church is a contemporary/blended style – mainly piano-led, and rhythm section-supported – and yet, there is a strong desire to move to a more modern style of worship to reach the next generation. The Christ’s Church staff and volunteers are aware of the need to reshape the worship ministry to better connect with young adults in the church and community. It is fertile ground for a spiritually-developed, talented, worship-driven leader who has a passion for multi-generational worship. The next worship pastor will enjoy the opportunity to thrive in an environment where collaboration is valued, where everyone has a voice at the table, and where future potential can be realized. They will also have the privilege of serving alongside a team of highly-competent staff and volunteers.
