South Tampa Fellowship
We love that this church has a clear vision to reach its city with the gospel! Not content with the status quo, they are engaging diverse groups of people through their multisite strategy. This is an incredible opportunity to serve a Kingdom-minded church in a beautiful and vibrant coastal city.
The goal of South Tampa Fellowship (STF) is to allow God to transform lives from brokenness into wholeness. STF believes that the church is an extension of the family, and it is the connection people have in Christ that makes them part of that family. Ministry here is centered on a set of core values with the purpose of loving God and loving people. It is through these values that they aim to reach individuals, communities and the world with God’s message of hope through Jesus. They are known in their area for Biblical preaching, engagement and outreach in the community, and vibrant ministries to children and students.
South Tampa Fellowship is located in the beautiful city of Tampa, Florida. Situated on Tampa Bay which opens up into the Gulf of Mexico, Tampa has been ranked one of America’s “Best Outdoor Cities” as well as the “Best Big City to Live In” within the Southeastern United States. The beauty of this place is found not only in the natural surroundings but in the diversity of the people here. With its thriving economy, coastal location and incredible amenities, this is a highly desirable place to live.
South Tampa Fellowship regards worship as vital to the life of the believer. The new Worship Pastor will lead a group of talented and passionate people who are invested in the Worship Ministry. The musical expression in this multisite church is decidedly modern, but with the desire for each campus to adapt its expression to reflect the demographics of the community in which it’s located. The Worship Pastor will coach and resource the worship leaders across all campuses, while also being the primary worship leader on the largest campus. The greatest needs here will be to help establish a cohesive “worship identity” across campuses while implementing consistent processes and communication, to recruit and develop team members for this growing multisite church, and to build community among this diverse team.
The new Worship Pastor must be a seasoned leader of high moral character and deep love for Jesus who promotes unity among the staff and others. The qualified candidate will be genuine and authentic, seeking to live a life that is consistently Christ-centered on and off the platform. More than a worship leader, the new hire should possess the heart of a worship “pastor” who seeks to shepherd others.
