Potential Church is an incredibly diverse, multi-ethnic, and multi-generational church that has a rich history of ministry in South Florida. Formerly known as Flamingo Road Baptist Church, Senior Pastor Troy Gramling recast the Church’s vision in 2008, and changed their name to Potential Church. The new name better represented their multiple locations (7) as well as their global vision. With a weekly attendance of 12,000 attendees, Potential Church has already begun realizing their vision through their international campuses in Lima, Peru and the Bahamas. The ministry of Pastor Troy and Potential Church also extend through their broadcast partnerships with NBC, Fox, TBN, and the American Forces Network.
One of Potential Church’s values is “Creating environments to move people toward their God Potential.” This can be experienced from the parking lot team to the lobby hosts and the announcements on stage. Their goal of seeing both the church and unchurched feel equally welcomed and at home is clearly evident. This culture also extends beyond their church building, and can be see through their extensive outreach efforts in nearby communities and overseas missions.
