Fellowship Bible is starting ANOTHER fantastic Campus; this time in the Midtown of Little Rock. They already have more than 250 people committed to the campus plant where all things happen live (preaching, worship, students, etc.).
Church Description *
Fellowship Bible Church of Little Rock began with a small group of students at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville who were inspired in the late 1960’s with a vision for a new kind of church. In August of 1977, this group held its official first service and now has grown to about 4000 people weekly. In 2017 Fellowship launched a bilingual Espanol campus that currently meets at the Little Rock campus, with a heart of reaching the growing Latino community in Little Rock. Fellowship is their fifth campus in the Midtown neighborhood of Little Rock.
Position Description *
The Student Pastor is responsible for all aspects of Fellowship’s Student Ministry (FSM) at the campus level. Through their strong leadership, communication and relational skills, this person oversees the effectiveness and growth of the campus’s ministry to students 7th-12th grade.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (short-list)
-Develop and launch Fellowship Students at the Midtown campus
-Plan and lead Wednesday Night student services
-Recruit and manage volunteers for Wednesday Night, events and small groups (D Groups).
-Cast vision and provide ongoing training for leaders.
-Shepherd students, volunteers and families
-Build an ongoing presence within the community and schools.
-Contribute to the overall leadership of the local campus
-Meet regularly with the Fellowship Students team for vision, creative, and strategy planning.
-Calling – An obvious heart for students.
-Preaching – Engaging, skilled teacher and communicator passionate about reaching students who don’t know Jesus and challenging students who do.
-Team-Oriented—eager to recruit, develop, grow and serve on teams.
-Multisite – Understands how to manage the tension of serving on multiple teams in the same context.
-Details – Proven leader with high administration skills.
-Relevant 4 yr. college degree. Seminary or other ministry training a plus.
