Redeemer Church

Senior Pastor

Fridley,

Minnesota

Why I Love This Opportunity

Mike Goldsworthy

Associate

This is a great opportunity for a pastor to join a church poised for its next season of ministry. People in the church want to engage, make an impact and are expectant for their next pastor who will lead them. With great facilities, finances, and an expectant congregation, the church is at a significant inflection point of who they have been and are becoming. The next pastor will have the important task of helping them move more fully into this next season of who they are becoming. Redeemer has shown itself to be a church that loves its pastors well. This is a place to be loved well while you lead well.

About This Organization

Redeemer Lutheran Church was founded in 1916 in Fridley, Minnesota. Through 100+ years of ministry, we remain a multi-generational congregation, using our spiritual gifts to glorify God and serve one another and those around us.

Kids and youth are an important part of the church. Historically, by the time students graduate high school, they have developed life-long connections with others and their faith. Currently, 50 students regularly attend the youth service on Sunday nights, with several of the volunteers being former students who want to give back to an experience that had been so meaningful to them
Redeemer currently has an average attendance of 290 people in our two worship services and those who worship online. We are debt-free and financially healthy with an annual budget of $1,169,200 and an investment fund of over $450,000 to provide meaningful financial resources for today and future generations for ministry.

Redeemer appreciates pastors who teach the Scriptures with depth and favor a more exegetical approach to their preaching. We are distinctively Lutheran in our approach to the Scriptures and the way we think about ministry, but we are also actively engaged with the Holy Spirit and trusting the gifts of the Spirit for today. There is a vibrancy to our faith, where we expect to be challenged, taught, and led by the Spirit.

Redeemer is affiliated and theologically aligned with Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ.
