Bridges Christian Church
Bridges Christian Church is an independent Christian church with a rich tradition dating back to 1921. The church evolved from a handful of people meeting in a movie theater to a congregation of over 800 members. Bridges is a place that honors the past but does not live in it. There are vibrant ministries and teams leading and loving the very same community that they launched within all those decades ago! Bridges Christian Church exists to connect people to Jesus and one another. Bridges is a non -denominational, dynamic, unique Christian church. Their average attendance is 600 that meet each Sunday for two services.
Bridges Christian Church offers an excellent environment for children, students, and adults. They are committed to small groups and supporting local and global missions. The community at Bridges is outreach-focused; they love to be out in the community and they strive to connect people to Jesus in all areas: outreach, corporate worship, Life Groups, and serving others. Bridges Christian Church is located in the North East corner of Kentucky. It has an ideal location on the Ohio River between Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.
Bridges is highly concerned about those far from God but also genuinely cares for those who call Bridges home. The Senior Pastor must be a dynamic communicator and leader with Godly character. He must be authentic in everyday life and spiritual walk. They must be the same person on and off of the stage. Bridges is searching for a Senior Pastor of great vision, passion, and maturity whose heart is burdened for the lost souls of this world and seeks to carry out the Great Commission by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Senior Pastor of Bridges will serve the Body of Christ through preaching, teaching, witnessing, and shepherding of the Bridges family and surrounding community. The Senior Pastor will be a vital part of the Bridges Leadership Team (Elders) and will serve as both leader and mentor to the Bridges staff. A Master’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited Christian college or university is preferred. They must be an ordained Christian minister and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-time associate or senior pastoral ministry and church leadership.
